Rounds Details:

Date: Friday November 29, 2013

Presented by: Dr. Matt Davis, (Interim Medical Director of Education), Christine Hardie (Regional Paramedic Educator), and Justine Jewell (CBRN Specialist and RN)

Brief Description:

We’ve been asked, time and time again for ECG reviews that cover not only the basics, but also the nitty-gritty, tough ECG recordings that even seasoned paramedics have difficulty interpreting.

In Part III, of our three-part webinar series, will move from basic to challenging. In this webinar, expect a review of pacemakers, ICD’s and sudden cardiac death syndromes.

Upon completion of this webinar, you should be able to:
- Recognize the components of paced rhythms
- Identify the purpose and treatment of patients with ICD's
- Identify 12 lead ECG findings in patients presenting with sudden cardiac death syndrome
