Brief Description:
This webinar session dicusses the physiology and pathophysiology of cold, a review of the Hypothermia Cardiac Arrest Medical Directive, and a discussion about rewarming techniques. Make sure to watch so you’re not left out in the cold!

Paramedics of all levels will benefit from joining this paramedic rounds, as you will be able to:
- Describe the physiology and pathophysiology of temperature regulation and effects on various body systems.
- Discuss Emergency Department management of hypothermia and rewarming techniques.
- Appropriately apply the Hypothermia Cardiac Arrest Medical Directive to a variety of clinical situations.
