Sheila Schembri

Sheila Schembri is the only full-time member of the BDP comprehensive care team and has the distinction of having the longest history with the Program. Sheila is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Should you require anything during these hours Sheila is committed to addressing these needs and if unable to do so, very adept at locating the appropriate team member to do so.

Sheila enjoys working with the Bleeding Disorders community – “it is a privilege to work with multigenerational families over time”. In addition to her administrative responsibilities, she is an active member of the interdisciplinary Canadian Hemophilia Assessment and Resource Management System (CHARMS) Committee. Sheila’s duties include answering the phone, triaging calls, assisting with research activities, coordinating clinics, order and data entry, the day-to-day operation of the office and anything else that gets thrown her way.
