Who Should Attend:

• Yr 2 medical students with an interest in surgery and/or anesthesia
• Yr 3 nursing students with an interest in operating room nursing

What to expect:

• Five full days of interprofessional learning
• Hands on simulation exercises
• Hands on practice of routine surgical skills

Topics include but not limited to:

• Importance of Team Work
• Operating Room Environment
• Patient Positioning
• Airway Management
• Suturing
• Pain Management
