The Problem

Burning fossil fuels results in the emission of greenhouse gases, that create climate change:

• sulfur oxides contribute to acid rain
• nitrogen oxides contribute to smog and
• other volatile organic compounds that are harmful to our environment and health

While we make the transition to safer methods of producing energy, it is important to reduce our consumption to avoid these unwanted emissions.
