Message from the Chair

As Chair, I have the privilege of serving with a very dedicated group of community-based board volunteers. LHSC’s board members bring a diversity of skills and a wealth of experience to their work on behalf of the community and I am grateful for their active involvement, engagement and leadership.

London Health Sciences Centre is a jewel in our community, recognized nationally and internationally for the quality of its care, its excellence in teaching and the innovation of its research. Our board will ensure in the years ahead that we continue to build on this reputation for excellence.

As stewards of hospital quality, the board is committed to supporting the staff and physicians who provide extraordinary patient care each and every day, and to sustaining our advanced teaching and research capabilities.

Community support, over more than 130 years, has always been at the heart of our hospital. Thanks to the valuable support contributed by generous volunteers and donors, we have achieved great things in London. That strong ongoing commitment enables us to redevelop our hospital buildings, invest in new equipment and fund research to ensure physicians and staff can continue to give our patients the best possible care.
