(London, ON) – This Wednesday, over 350 Grade 9 students will get an inside look at what a career in health care is really about. This is the fourteenth year that LHSC will participate in Take Our Kids to Work Day.
As London’s largest employer with approximately 10,000 staff and physicians, Take Our Kids to Work Day offers LHSC the chance to showcase the large scope and variety of jobs throughout the hospital.
This year students will meet a parent who made a decision to change her career four years ago after attending a Take Our Kids to Work Day tour with her son.
The media is invited to attend the tour at LHSC’s University Hospital.
