Southwestern Ontario Patient Safety Summit 2009

(LONDON, Ontario) – The London Health Sciences Centre Patient safety Council presents the 2009 Southwestern Ontario Patient Safety Summit, Moving Forward safely, to stimulate a strong patient safety culture throughout Southwestern Ontario.

The Patient Safety Summit features an exciting line up of speakers, including:

• A Mother’s Story with Marianne Murray
• Thinking or Blinking: Decision-making in Healthcare with Dr. Pat Croskerry, an Emergency Medicine physician from Dalhousie University
• The Future of Safety: Impact, Measurement and Improvement with Dr. Mark Fleming of St. Mary’s University in Nova Scotia
• Impact of eHealth on Patient Safety with Dr. Kevin Leonard from the University of Toronto and University Health Network
