University Hospital back to normal operations


(LONDON, Ontario) – At 12:20 a.m., the Code Grey was cleared for London Health Sciences Centre's University Hospital.

A new back-up generator has been installed and tested, and the hospital has returned to normal operations.

On Tuesday at approximately 11:00 a.m. a water main failure occurred causing damage to power equipment and a partial loss of backup power. The hospital continued to have 100% normal power.

All patients are asked to come to the hospital for their scheduled procedures and surgeries.
