London Middlesex Road Safety Committee educating children and parents about pedestrian safety

(LONDON, Ontario)Members of the London Middlesex Road Safety Committee including London Health Sciences Centre, Ministry of Transportation, Middlesex London Health Unit, and London Police Service will be outside of Rick Hansen Public School to educate parents and their children about the importance of pedestrian safety including visibility and properly using the new pedestrian crossovers.

Tomorrow, a new provincial pedestrian safety campaign called "Be Alert, Be Seen" is launching, encouraging both drivers and pedestrians to stay focused and remain visible while using the roads. It will also feature PSAs, which will be broadcast provincially in the month to come.
