LONDON, Ontario – This year’s New Year baby is baby Leila Elizabeth Hare, born at 12:20 a.m. and weighing 8lbs 15oz. Leila is welcomed by mom Esther, dad Ian, five older brothers and two older sisters.
To welcome the first baby of 2018, the pharmacist-owners of London and area Shoppers Drug Mart stores have generously donated a large gift basket for Leila.
Shoppers Drug Mart has proudly served London and the surrounding region for more than 25 years. As a part of their ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of women in their community, the pharmacist-owners and staff of Shoppers Drug Mart stores are pleased to welcome the first baby of the New Year to London.
London Health Sciences Centre and London Health Sciences Foundation would like to thank Shoppers Drug Mart for their generous donation of the gift basket.
In addition to the Shoppers Drug Mart gift basket, Children's Health Foundation included a teddy bear and London Health Sciences Foundation contributed a handcrafted baby blanket for the first-born baby of the New Year.
