Engaging Partnerships

LHSC’s 2011 United Way Campaign results

February 17, 2012

London Health Sciences Centre is pleased to announce that we have exceeded both the previous year’s campaign total and this year’s goal for our United Way Campaign by raising a grand total of $121,122!

Each year, our staff and physicians generously donate to the LHSC United Way Campaign. Many of the pressing issues in London and Middlesex County that United Way strives to make an impact on - such as poverty, mental health and beginnings and transitions for citizens of the region – are also issues that impact London Health Sciences Centre’s patients and the patient care services that we provide.

This year the theme of the campaign was Change Starts Here, and by giving to the campaign, the staff and physicians of LHSC have had the opportunity to help make a real difference in the communities that we serve.

London Health Sciences Centre has a vision which we work toward daily – Exceptional Experiences, Extraordinary People and Engaging Partnerships. This campaign and the generosity of our staff and physicians exemplify that vision.
