Brenda Fields (right), an Occupational Therapist on the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service at University Hospital was awarded the 2012 Occupational Therapy Practice Education Award by Western University’s School of Occupational Therapy. The award recognizes dedication and excellence in fieldwork, clinical teaching and/or mentorship.
Fields was nominated by a former student who cited her “superlative level of commitment to her clients and [the student]” as well as her genuine client-centred approach, commitment to the profession and persistent advocacy for clients as some of the reasons why Fields was worthy of receiving the Practice Education Award.
Congratulations to Brenda on this well deserved recognition.
