Not even the dreary weather could dampen the spirits in Victoria Hospital’s B Tower atrium as staff at LHSC traded in their regular uniforms and donned creative costumes in celebration of Halloween.
The annual costume contest held by the paediatrics department at Children's Hospital drew many smiles from spectators.
Participants this year included the ninja turtles (paediatric inpatient department), the Monopoly game board complete with Monolopy man (clinical teaching unit), characters from Disney’s Despicable Me (PMDU), Mini Mouse (Andrea Fordham-family advisory council), the fairy godmother (Kelly Pollard-NICU) and many more.
Prizes went to cowboy Orlando Da Silva (neonatologist) for male costume, toilet Sarah Jones (paediatric surgery) for best female costume, and the Monopoly board game (clinical teaching unit) for best group costume.
