The NP is a primary or acute care self-directed practitioner who provides holistic patient care based on advanced nursing and basic medical management knowledge and skills for a selected patient population.
The responsibilities include providing assessments and interventions for acutely complex clients in their place of residence , liaising with clients, families and all health care providers as well as using clinical assessment, monitoring, and management skills to provide the best possible client care. The NP will be a key member of the Seniors Mental Health and Addictions Mobile Response Team. The successful candidate will report to the Coordinator of Regional and Specialty Services in the Mental Health Care Program.
