Grant Writing and Career Training for Graduate Students and Early Career Professionals

 

In celebration of the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario’s (POGO’s) 30th anniversary, the POGO Research Unit (PRU) invites graduate students and early career professionals in the field of pediatric oncology to attend a research day. Learn to write strong grant applications, get tips to take your career to the next level, and discover how to capitalize on POGONIS – POGO’s unique and rich pediatric cancer research database.

Workshops

  • Explore the art of grant writing with experts in the field of pediatric oncology who will share their best practices to help you prepare a grant application that stands out from the rest.
  • Hear from some of Ontario’s most distinguished clinicians and researchers in the field of pediatric oncology about the unique opportunities that a career in this field presents.
  • Learn more about POGO and the PRU and how it supports graduate students and early career professionals who are interested in pursuing a career in pediatric oncology.
