Presented jointly by St. Joseph’s Health Care London and London Health Sciences Centre, Breast Reconstructions Awareness (BRA) Day is a national campaign to promote education, awareness and access for women who may wish to consider post-mastectomy breast reconstruction.
The 2016 BRA Day will be held on Oct. 19. This popular information evening is open to those wondering if breast reconstruction after a mastectomy is right for them. All are invited to learn about post-mastectomy reconstruction options directly from plastic surgeons, hear from women who have undergone the surgery, view real results first hand in the women’s only ‘show and tell lounge,’ and discover the “Circle of Sharing” support group.
BRA Day will be held on Oct. 19 at St. Joseph's Hospital in the Shuttleworth Auditorium, Zone D, Level 0, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. The event is free but registration is required. Online registration is now open.
