London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Canada Day.
As many people head to barbeques, parties, festivals, camping-sites or to watch a fireworks show this Canada Day, July 1, it is important to be safe on residential streets and highways. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has reported that 27 people have died on OPP-patrolled roads since the beginning of June and that the same poor driver behaviours were behind the majority of the deaths.
Here are some ways drivers can keep us all safe this Canada Day and throughout the summer:
