One morning on the way to work, Beverley McCauley, a Registered Nurse at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), was inspired while listening to 102.3 BOB FM on the radio.
A call had gone out to London organizations to share some holiday happiness by collecting toys in the workplace. “Office elves” were being recruited to help build BOB’s Magical Mountain of Toys, in support of LHSC’s Children’s Hospital and the Salvation Army.
Beverley recruited office elves at LHSC’s Clinical Neurological Sciences (CNS) department and they went to work, collecting 2 bins of toys. The toys were ready for pick-up on December 10 and Matt from 102.3 BOB FM swung by to collect the toys in “Santa’s Sleigh” courtesy of London Mitsubishi.
Once all the toys from across London have been collected, BOB will deliver them to the Children’s Hospital and Salvation Army Christmas hamper depot for distribution. Thank you to the “elves” from the CNS department for your contribution!
