The atrium was at capacity on Thursday when the LHSC Social Work Professional Development Committee hosted an Older Adult Resources Fair at Victoria Hospital.
More than 30 hospital and community partners joined the fair, featuring a wide range of programs from Addiction Services of Thames Valley, to the City of London’s Age Friendly London initiative, and the Impact Program and Middlesex London Health Unit partnership on falls prevention.
Community resources such as the Southwestern Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre, the Alzheimer Society, and the March of Dimes participated. Each group had a booth with information aimed at older adults and included fact sheets, brochures, transit maps and other relevant materials.
