We are currently recruiting for a Casual Personal Support Worker to join our team! Our preferred candidate has a Canadian Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, and has successfully completed a PSW Certificate from a recognized Ontario PSW Program. If you have a Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Certificate - BLS-HCP(C) and recent related experience working as a PSW, we want to hear from you!
The Personal Support Worker (PSW) is an unregulated caregiver who is assigned and supervised by a Regulated Healthcare Professional that reports to the Coordinator or the Patient Care area. Their scope of practice includes the provision of care focusing on the patients’ activities of daily living. They must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, and be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Apply today!
