The legacy of care at LHSC’s former South Street Hospital dates back 138 years, when the London General Hospital opened in 1875. From January to September 2014, this building was systematically demolished. LHSC has created this stop-motion video compiled of photos taken throughout the demolition.
While the hospital building may be gone, LHSC remains committed to being a strong and vibrant partner within our city and region.
