London Health Sciences Centre’s 2017 “Talk Trauma” Conference began with an extraordinary extrication demonstration by the London Fire Department highlighting the work of EMS professionals to safely extricate trauma victims before they can be transported to hospital.
London Health Sciences Centre’s Trauma Program annually hosts “Talk Trauma,” a one day conference for physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and emergency medical services professionals involved in providing care for adult trauma patients.
“‘Talk Trauma’ brings 250 professionals from the region together to share their expertise, discuss emerging trends, and learn new approaches to improve the care of trauma patients across the region,” says Brandon Batey, injury prevention specialist, LHSC.
