June 2, 2017
World Eating Disorders Action Day is a movement designed to expand global awareness of eating disorders as treatable illnesses that can affect anyone.
The Second Annual World Eating Disorders Day is on June 2, 2017, and the LHSC Adult Eating Disorders Service (AEDS) is participating by raising awareness and collectively advocating for resources and policy change. Please help support us and all those impacted by eating disorders by checking out what we offer and share our services with someone who you think could benefit from our support.
Our team is passionate about providing the best care possible to individuals with eating disorders. We offer group based treatment for individuals with binge eating disorder, intensive day treatment with or without residential treatment, and individual outpatient treatment. We have recently begun offering individual outpatient treatment and are excited about this treatment option as it makes treatment much more accessible to people who were previously unable to take time off work or school to attend our intensive program.
If you have any further questions about our services please contact our program secretary at ext. 74793 or visit our website www.lhsc.on.ca/aeds.
