London Health Sciences Centre is currently recruiting for a Full-time Psychologist to join our team. Our preferred candidate holds a Doctoral Degree in psychology from an accredited university as well as recent experience working with simple and complex psychological and physical trauma patients in a health care setting. This position involves working in Trauma Service in the Mental Health Care Program, and reports to both the Coordinator, General Adult Outpatient Mental Health Services and for professional practice issues to the Manager, Psychology and Social Work. In this position, the Psychologist provides assessment and treatment services as part of an interprofessional team to patients from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). The Psychologist may be actively involved in both the diagnosis and the healing process of patients that have been hurt on the job.
