Below is some information about our past students which outline their experiences, education and where they may be today.

Jason Haley

Jason joined the Strategy & Project Leadership team in September 2010. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Medical Science in Medical Biophysics and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, both from the University of Western Ontario. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. Jason has a strong interest in healthcare. He spent two years as a Strategic Training Fellow with the Canadian Institute of Health Research at the John P. Robarts Research Institute while researching and developing a novel technique for protein-guided therapeutic tissue regeneration. Jason is interested in contributing to continuous improvements to the quality of healthcare using innovative tools and techniques.

Kerry Mui

Kerry Mui

Kerry joined the Strategy & Project Leadership team in May 2010. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and is currently enrolled in the HBA program at the Richard Ivey School of Business. He is also pursuing his Certified Associate in Project Management Certificate (CAPM). Kerry has a strong interest in operations, projects, and healthcare.

Wenonah Mahase

Wenonah Mahase

Wenonah worked with the Strategy and Project Leadership team from January to April 2010. Her project portfolio invloved work for the City-Wide Cleanliness project, the Pathology Services project with the Thames Valley Hospital Planning Parternship, the Order Sets project and the development of a report for the South West LHIN Patient Access and Flow project. Wenonah is currently at the DeGroote School of Business in the MBA program specializing in Health Services Management.

Suman Dhanju

Suman Dhanju

Suman worked with the team from September to December of 2009 as an administrative resident. Suman’s work included the City-Wide Cleanliness Project, The Order Sets Project, and a business case developed for both LHSC and St. Joseph’s. Suman enjoyed her time with ISAN not only because of the interesting work, but also because of the wonderful employees she was surrounded by!  Suman is currently at McMaster University obtaining an MBA specializing in Health Services Management.

Alya Saab

Alya Saab

Alya with the ISAN team from May to August 2009. In September she returned to McMaster University in Hamilton, where she will complete her final semester of the MBA program in which she has chosen to specialize in Health Services Management, and minor in Human Resource Management. Her undergraduate degree, an Honours BSc. in Biomedical Science, was received in 2007 from the University of Guelph. Reflective of her passion for the health care field, Alya has been involved with many aspects of both private and public healthcare as an employee and volunteer.

Farah Khan

Farah Khan

Farah worked with the ISAN team from January to April 2009 as an Administrative Resident. She is an MBA Co-op candidate in Health Services Management at the Degroote School of Business and holds a B.Sc. in Behavioural Neuroscience from McMaster University. She enjoyed her four months with ISAN and the many opportunities she encountered.

Vicky Simanovski

Vicky Simanovski

Vicky is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario's Management and Organizational Studies program with a specialization in Organizational and Human Resources. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration in the area of Health Services Management at the Degroote School of Business. Vicky has held the position of Fund Development Coordinator with the AIDS Committee of London and previously worked with the University Students Council at UWO where she oversaw the planning and execution of various campaigns and events.

Andrew (A.J.) Wells

AJ Wells

Andrew worked with the ISAN team from September to December 2008 as an Administrative Resident. He is a graduate of the Honours Bachelor of Science program at McMaster University, specializing in Biology with a minor in Psychology. He is currently obtaining a Masters degree in Business Administration from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, specializing in Health Services Management with a Co-op designation.

Pierre Robichaud

Pierre Robichaud

Pierre worked with the ISAN team from May to August 2008 as an Administrative Resident. He brought with him an educational background in science and business as he pursued a concurrent Honors in Business Administration / Honors in Genetics Degree through the Richard Ivey School of Business (UWO). Pierre has a passion for healthcare - he had volunteered extensively in the healthcare community and researched therapies for neurodegenerative diseases as an NSERC USRA fellow. In the summer of 2007, he acquired a more strategic mindset working as a management consultant in Sydney, Australia. Pierre was eager to enhance his understanding of healthcare and is particularly interested in strategic directions that promote an integrated and prevention-based approach to healthcare.

Erin Dragasevich

Erin Dragasevich

Erin worked with the ISAN team from May to August 2007. She was very pleased to be the summer Administrative Resident here at ISAN. Her summer portfolio included the creation of a White Paper for an Electronic Medical Records Steering Committee, the creation of an LHSC/SJHC Physician Directory and the development of a business case for a PICC Line clinic at SJHC. In September, Erin returned to UWO for her fifth year, where she completed both her Honors in Health Sciences degree and her HBA from the Ivey School of Business.

Jonathan Batson

Jason Batson

Jonathan worked with the ISAN team from May to August 2006 on a four-month summer position as Administrative Resident. With ISAN, Jon worked on a variety of projects with emphasis on the Southwest LHIN “Hip and Knees” Project. Jon hopes were to learn as much as possible and apply what he had learned to benefit the ISAN team. Jonathan has completed combined Honours Business Administration (HBA) and Honours Health Science degrees at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
