To support and give focused, project specific leadership to LHSC and St. Joseph's strategic and corporate priorities

Current Initiatives

  • LHSC and St. Joseph’s Corporate Strategic Plan - development, review and reporting role
  • Most Responsible Physician project - LHSC - focus on unassigned and alternate level of care patients
  • City-wide Cleanliness project - focus on defining an approach to improve cleanliness in clinical areas
  • Business Case Development project -  focus on defining a process for assessing and selecting specific projects based on business cases
  • Performance Management project - focus on developing tools and processes to support improvements in performance (pilot in surgical services)
  • Project management training and support project - focus on developing the infrastructure to support on-going training and support of staff in project management

To support and give focused, project specific leadership to LHSC and St. Joseph's response to local, clinical integration opportunities

 

Current Initiatives

  • Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic - EMR project
  • Regional EPR access project - focus on putting policies and procedures in place to enable staff access to the regional EPR system 

 

Strategic Direction

To support and give focused, project specific leadership to LHSC and St. Joseph's leadership role within the Thames Valley Hospital Planning Partnership on a fee-for-service basis

 

Current Initiatives

  • Urgent orthopedic same day surgery and repatriation pilot project - pilot between LHSC and Alexandra Hospital (Ingersoll)
  • Chiefs of Staff Committee - Physician services at risk project - focus on pathology and laboratory services
  • Executive Committee - administrative support

 

Strategic Direction

To support and give focused, project specific leadership to LHSC and St. Joseph's leadership role in the Southwest region, primarily on a fee-for-service basis  

 

Current Initiatives

  • Southwest Ontario Digital Imaging project – contract agreement work re: the expansion project to include all LHIN 3 and LHIN 4 hospitals
  • South Western Maternal Newborn Child & Youth Network - network development work
  • OHA Region 5 Executive Committee - on-going liaison role
