Our Program

Our Transport Team includes highly skilled and knowledgeable nurses and respiratory therapists who have received comprehensive, advanced training in neonatal and paediatric transport. Their primary goal is to provide safe transport of critically ill infants and children. The team transports approximately 300 critically ill infants and children annually.

This transport team is unique in that it is based out of two organizations – the Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU) at Children’s Hospital and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Joseph’s Health Care London.

If the NICU or PCCU is unable to accommodate an infant, our team will then transport that infant to another facility where space is available.
