The waiting room of the Cardiac Surgery Recovery Unit and the Medical-Surgical ICU is staffed by dedicated volunteers. If you wish to visit your loved one, it is important to tell the volunteer on duty so staff are aware of your arrival.
Visiting hours are from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily. If you find that you are unable to visit during the scheduled visiting hours, please discuss this with the bedside nurse and we will try to accommodate your request.
If there is no volunteer, please use the phone to call into the Medical-Surgical ICU at extension 33361.
We have two private family rooms available for our patients' families. We reserve these rooms for those who require more privacy. The family name will be placed outside the room so people know the room is occupied, or the room can be marked anonymously.
