Spiritual and Multifaith Care

Spiritual Care supports people of all faiths and those who consider themselves spiritual, but not religious. The Spiritual Care Specialist can work with you to make your faith or spiritual values part of your treatment plan. Some of the services offered include spiritual support and access to multi-faith rites.

The Spiritual Care Specialist can help you and your family:

Gain spiritual strength through your experience with cancer
Work through spiritual questions and cope with distress
Look at beliefs that may cause you to feel the cancer is a form of punishment
Learn different ways to meditate and pray to lessen fear, anxiety, pain, and suffering
Increase your inner strength to cope with the cancer
