What is chemotherapy?
Chemotherapy uses medicine to treat cancer. Sometimes chemotherapy is called systemic therapy. There are many different chemotherapy drugs. For descriptions of these drugs visit Cancer Care Ontario's Drug Formulary.

Chemotherapy is used to either cure or control cancer. Your oncologist and nurse will give you more information about this type of treatment.
Chemotherapy is usually given between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. The chemotherapy suite is located on LRCP Level 2 of LRCP.
