Feeding Tubes

Some patients have experienced significant weight loss or are having difficulty maintaining weight.

To assist with providing additional nutrition, a feeding tube may be recommended while tests are being done and treatments are planned.

An interventional radiologist will place the feeding tube.

A hospital stay of 1 or 2 nights is usually required to ensure that the tube is in the correct position and working properly.
