LHSC is one of 15 Multiple Sclerosis Clinics involved with the Canadian Collaborative Project on Genetic Susceptibility to MS (CCPGSMS) study. It is a Canada wide study involving more than 30,000 MS patients and their family members.
The primary goal of the study is to direct efforts to pinpoint the gene or genes, involved in the onset and development of MS, while also intending to determine what non-genetic factors play a role, if any, in the development of MS.
For more information, please refer to the CCPGSMS study or contact Alanna Holomey at 685-8500 Ext. 34706.
