What are personal web start pages?

Some users of the London Hospitals web have access to restricted, special-purpose sections of it. These users' personal web start pages provide a single point of access to all those areas. A simple list of links, like the one shown here --

	LHSC and SJHC Public web sites
	LHSC Private Web
	etc...

-- serves as a jumping-off point. A user's personal web start page is protected by the same username and password that grants him or her access to other restricted parts of the LH web.

Should I have one?

If you require or are given access to any of the restricted sections of the LHSC web, you automatically get a web start page. If you are having trouble accessing yours, please read this page titled "Access to part of LH web denied".
