by Canadian Blood Services, describes
the use of human blood and blood components. It
is considered an extension of blood and component
container labels and so conforms to all applicable
regulations issued by the Health Products and
Food Branch of Health Canada.

Easy E-learning Tool is
a free e-learning program designed
to enhance the ability of physicians, nurses

and its alternatives
knowledgeably. The program is based
on the handbook, Blood
Easy: A Guide to Transfusion Medicine, a
quality resource on blood transfusion, blood
alternatives and transfusion reactions, by
Dr. Jeannie Callum and Dr. Peter Pinkerton,
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
