London Health Sciences Centre continues to increase patient care services

(LONDON, Ontario) On Wednesday, April 9 London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) will increase its operating rooms from 50 to 75 per cent capacity at all three sites.

Also on April 9, LHSC will return to full capacity for its diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine, and interventional procedures at all three sites of the hospital. This includes diagnostic tests such as MRI’s, CT scans, ultrasounds, and specialized X-ray procedures.

Outpatient clinics are still limited to emergency and urgent cases only.

It is important to reinforce to the public that as the reinstatement of some services continues patients will receive a phone call from LHSC confirming their appointment.

Visitor restrictions have not changed and continue to be in place along with all other provincial directives.
