(LONDON, Ontario) – London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) will be hosting a provincial think tank workshop on mood and anxiety disorders which are the most common of all psychiatric conditions. These disorders frequently begin to cause dysfunction in late adolescence and young adulthood, during critical years of adult development.
The goal for the workshop is two-fold: first, it is to make recommendations for the components of early identification and intervention programs for mood and anxiety disorders across the province of Ontario. Second, it is to plan a strategy to make such programs a provincial health care delivery priority.
Date:
Friday, October 17, 2008
Time:
8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (open to media from 8:00am to noon)
