(London, ON): Over 350 Grade 9 students in London will get an inside look at how London’s largest employer operates, this Wednesday November 7, 2007, during Take Our Kids to Work Day.
Take Our Kids to Work Day gives students a look at future job prospects in health care, and gives LHSC staff the opportunity to showcase what they do and how it impacts the community.
LHSC will be providing tours in; Multi-Organ Transplant Unit, Child and Adult Emergency Department, Food Services, Labs, Physiotherapy, Human Resources, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering and the Burn Unit. New this year will be a hands-on presentation in Respiratory Therapy, where students will intubate and defibrillate a demonstration doll.
The media is invited to attend the tour at LHSC’s Victoria Hospital.
