Iron Man brings inspirational message of hope to dialysis patients
(London, ON) - Two years ago, Shad Ireland became the first dialysis patient ever to compete in and complete an Iron Man Triathlon. Now an inspirational speaker and fitness advocate for patients living with kidney disease, Ireland presents a vision of hope for other dialysis patients. On Tuesday, July 24, Ireland will meet with patients and staff at four dialysis clinics at London Health Sciences Centre. Ireland is also guest speaker the same day at a dinner for patients and staff. Ireland’s visit to LHSC is sponsored by Genzyme Corporation.
