LHSC to raise 21-foot "H" symbol onto new tower at LHSC Victoria Hospital
London Health Sciences Centre is raising the 21-foot hospital "H" marker to the top of the new Children's Hospital of Western Ontario and Grace Donnelly Women's Health Pavilion. At a height of more than two storeys tall, the four-sided, blue "H" sign will be the most visible hospital symbol in the city.
The raising of the "H" marker is an important, symbolic step for LHSC. It not only serves as a visual marker of the location of the recently consolidated Emergency services at LHSC Victoria Hospital for those in need of life-saving care, it is a symbol on our newest and tallest building, the new Children's Hospital of Western Ontario and Grace Donnelly Women's Health Pavilion, of the care, commitment and work we are undertaking to meet the growing healthcare demands of this community.
