London Health Sciences Centre staff inject cash into the United Way Campaign

London, ON - Staff at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) have exceeded their fundraising goal of $95,000 for the United Way campaign this year. On Wednesday, December 8 at the United Way headquarters in downtown London, "bags of money" from the LHSC campaign will arrive by stretcher and be hooked up to an I.V. line. Tony Dagnone, LHSC President and CEO, together with Jim Flett, Corporate Campaign Champion and Integrated Executive Vice-President, Corporate Services, and the LHSC United Way Committee will wheel out the stretcher to reveal LHSC's 2004 total campaign contribution of $102,806 to United Way of London & Middlesex.

The 2004 LHSC United Way Campaign represents the generous contribution of more than 600 hospital employees. Last year, LHSC staff raised a total of $84,376 for the United Way of London & Middlesex.
