Two parents now permitted to accompany each child coming for outpatient clinic visits
(LONDON, Ontario) Effective today, two parents/guardians will be permitted to accompany children coming to hospital for outpatient clinics and appointments.
London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) opened an exit-only door at Victoria Campus (Wellington and Commissioners Road) on Monday of this week to alleviate some of the congestion at the patient/visitor entrance. The door screeners are now able to focus entirely on patients/visitors entering the building. As a result, we are now able to allow both parents/guardians entry to the hospital when a child is being seen in a clinic or doctor's office.
All visitors will continue to be screened for SARS at the door .
