“Small Successes – Big Impact”

(LONDON, Ontario) – The London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care, London presents the 2010 Southwestern Ontario Patient Safety Summit, Small Successes – Big Impact, to stimulate a strong patient safety culture throughout the region.

Date: Thursday, April 15
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
Location: Best Western Lamplighter Inn

This year’s event will feature a line-up of exciting speakers, including:

  • Victoria Nahum, who will present a very moving personal story;
  • Dr. Michael Gardam, Director of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control, Ontario on Culture Change – What Does It Have To Do with Infection Control;
  • Dr. Bryce Taylor, Surgeon-in-Chief at University Health Network, will speak about the Surgical Safety Checklist; and,
  • Air Canada pilot Mark Auerman, who will address crisis resource management.
