Matthew is an employee of Hemophilia Ontario, a provincially incorporated charitable organization funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care AIDS Bureau representing the southwestern Ontario region.  In his role as Regional Service Coordinator (RSC) Matthew works closely with the Bleeding Disorders Program to support and provide services to families living with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.  Work of the RSC includes the planning and implementation of numerous education and support programs.  The RSC works collaboratively with volunteers to provide programs which include; eductional sessions on topics such as "Hepatitis C, Co-infection, Alternative Therapies, Charting Your Course, supportive networking events such as connecting with peers, family barbecues; and various support groups for parents, women and people living with HIV/HCV.  A specialized program offered by the region includes Camp Pinecrest which focuses on a fun five day camping experience for children while parents get a much needed break.  RSCs are also invovled in supporting the provincially organizaed programs including Youth Wilderness and Getaway Activities, the Provincial Women's Network, Camp Wanakita, the Peter McClure Educational Award Program and the HIV/Hepatitis C Education Program.
