London’s COVID-19 Assessment Centres are operated by the London Health Sciences Centre, St. Joseph’s Health Care London, the Middlesex-London Health Unit and the City of London. The Assessment Centres are open seven days a week from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at the following locations:
- Oakridge Arena, 825 Valetta Street, London
- Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre, 656 Elizabeth Street, London
Assessment Centres are out-of-hospital clinics where people can be seen by a health-care provider for COVID-19 concerns, rather than have them visit an Emergency Department, Urgent Care Centre or their family doctor’s office. There will be no medication or treatment onsite at COVID-19 Assessment Centres. Ontario’s COVID-19 Assessment Centres are intended to educate and provide further guidance as well as to triage individuals and determine the next steps in their care. Most people who attend an Assessment Centre will not require or receive a COVID-19 test. Tests will be done based on clinical criteria. Visit the Middlesex-London Health Unit for more information about the COVID-19 Assessment Centres.
