If you have concerns which require immediate attention, please tell your nurse or speak with the person in charge in your area.

Patient Relations Office:

LHSC's Patient Relations Specialists are available to assist patients and families with access to and knowledge of their rights and responsibilities. The Patient Relations Specialists will facilitate compliments, complaints and conflicts to a reasonable outcome as a mediator between the patient/family and the health-care team.

If you are seeking an exception to the visitor policy please contact your clinical team directly  and they will determine whether family or caregiver presence is possible

Your message will be forwarded to a Patient Relations Specialist who will contact you within 3 business days. Please note that during times of high volume calls, responses to complaints may take up to 5 business days.   

Inquiries about referrals should be redirected to switchboard (519-685-8500) and will be forwarded to the appropriate service.

Please Note: The Patient Relations office is unavailable weekends or statutory holidays. If urgent, please redirect to Switchboard and request After Hours Coordinator.
