Hysteroscopic Surgery (Hysteroscopy)

Hysteroscopy is a diagnostic and surgical procedure to explore and/or operate inside the uterine cavity using a small telescope with a fiber optic system called hysteroscope, inserted through the vagina into the uterus. During the operation, a gas or liquid is used to expand the uterine cavity to allow the doctor to see the organs.
