Congratulations to Drs. Dr. Abhijit Biswas & Dr. Richard Malthaner on behalf of the AMOSO Governing Committee and AMOSO Innovation Fund Sub-Committee for receiving the 2021-22 AHSC AFP Innovation Fund for the QORVATS study. A randomized controlled, triple blinded study to compare the quality of recovery (QoR 40) between intercostal block and a combination of intercostal nerve block with serratus plane catheter for patients undergoing VATS procedures. This study hopes to improve the quality of life for patients undergoing VATS lung resections.
