What is it?
Esophageal cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the esophagus.
Diagnosis
A number of tests may be required in order to accurately diagnose and stage esophageal cancer.
These include:
- Blood Tests
- Barium Swallow
- CT Scan
- Endoscopy
- MRI
- PET Scan
- Pulmonary Function Tests (breathing tests)
- Ultrasound
