You must be able to show a current (ie. less than 12 months old) criminal screening document in order to begin placement. If the document expires (ie. goes past 12 months old) during placement, you must update the criminal screening document and re-submit. Any cost associated with meeting or updating this requirement is the responsibility of the student.
Police Information Check (Police Record Check)
How to obtain:
From your local Police Service* Please check their website for hours of operation.
What to submit to LHSC:
Original copies of police record checks must be seen by Student Affairs. Bring the original document and a copy of the document to Student Affairs during the specified office hours below. Student Affairs will retain the copy.
The original police check must be viewed by Student Affairs. Bring a photo copy with you that will be kept by Student Affairs.
How to submit to LHSC:
Bring the original document and a copy of the document to the office of Student Affairs during the office hours listed below.
Unable to Make it During Office Hours?
The original must be left in the drop-box for verification purposes and arrangements can be made to pick it up at a later date.
